Addison Sarter
Addison Sarter was born and raised in Washington, DC. Since the age of 19 he has dedicated his life to serving his community.
From 2013-2017 he worked at A Wider Circle.
After that he worked at N Street Village helping to provide case management services to formerly homeless women with chronic illnesses, during the pandemic.
Shortly after, Addison would work at Cornerstone Montgomery in Montgomery County , Maryland as part of an ACT team (or "Assertive Community Treatment." This is a comprehensive and individualized approach to mental health care delivery focused on community-based services. There he doing home visits on clients with mental illnesses and disabilities, working to connect them with jobs.
He also worked as a case manager for the homeless at Miriams Kitchen, which included providing services to the clients living at the largest homeless encampment in DC at that time.
Most recently Addison worked as a Case Manager at InnerCity Collaborative Community Development, in which he worked to connect individuals at risk for gun violence in DC to jobs
