Steven Scott’s strong work ethic began early, working at an orange packing plant—a job that sparked his passion for hard work and laid the foundation for his future success. After holding various jobs, Steven moved to Brevard County and entered the roofing industry, starting from the ground up. His dedication led him to a management role where he gained experience in everything from hands-on roofing to office operations.
With the support of his wife Shannon, Steven took a leap of faith and launched Advanced Roof Technology. Together, they poured their hearts into building the company. To this day, Steven remains deeply involved in both fieldwork and daily operations, bringing the same work ethic and passion to every project. As he often says, "Work is my therapy."
Family is at the core of Advanced Roof Technology. Founded in 2005 by Steven and Shannon Scott, the company was built on strong family values and continues to thrive with the support of their extended family—including siblings and cousins.
Their children, Savannah and Simon, grew up around the business and now play key roles. Savannah and her husband, Brandon, manage office operations like estimates, permits, and logistics (you’ll likely hear Brandon’s voice when you call). Savannah also holds a State Certified Roofing license, while Brandon is a State Certified Building Contractor. Simon, currently in college, contributes high-quality photo and video content as a licensed drone operator with a Thermography Certification.
