Dr. Köntös has a PhD in chemistry and he said “While conducting scientific research, I noticed a very interesting molecule, which I then identified as the core of fulvic acid. Fulvates are found in nature and are vital for terrestrial life - without fulvates, there would be no life on Earth. Minerals that are insoluble or too large for absorption must first be converted by fulvates to make them bioavailable to living organisms - thus fulvates are the “transformers” and "delivery boys" of nature. However, in nature, fulvic acid is not “pure” - there are always minerals and other molecules bonded to it. So when I saw this stand-alone molecule, I knew that I found something very unique. Of course I was very excited, but I wanted to be sure that this is indeed a scientific breakthrough. So I sent it to be analyzed by a third party lab and they confirmed that I established a new process that resulted in stand-alone fulvic acid molecules.

Later on, as I continued my research, I noticed that fulvic acid and iodine form a new iodophor, where the elemental iodine (I2) is a guest molecule in the clathrate compound, and the fulvic acid is the host. Interestingly, this clathrate compound is extremely stable, non-reactive with nitrogen and oxygen, and is water-soluble. When the crystals are dissolved in water, the elemental iodine molecules remain caged, and even after 3 years they stay in that form - they don’t form iodide, or other forms of iodine in water. This kind of substance - a clathrate complex formed by elemental iodine and fulvic acid - has never been created before, so I named the complex Iodine-V^® (V for Victory).
