Career Built on Dedication

As Vice President of Manufacturing, Robby Atkins oversees OnDemand Specialty Vehicles (ODSV), Priority OnDemand's vehicle manufacturing company. Since its inception in December 2023, ODSV has rapidly grown to produce state-of-the-art emergency vehicles for its ambulance brands.

With a career spanning over 30 years in the EMS industry, Atkins brings a wealth of experience to his role as Vice President of Manufacturing at ODSV. His journey began in 1989, when he joined the family business at National EMS in Georgia. Starting as an EMT and Paramedic, he eventually rose to the position of Vice President, playing a pivotal role in the company's long-standing accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services.

During his tenure as Vice President of National EMS from 1999 to 2018, Atkins made significant contributions to the company's growth and success. His responsibilities included budgeting, fleet maintenance, public relations, and contract management. He was instrumental in securing 9-1-1 ambulance provider contracts with Athens Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital, a move that greatly expanded the company's service area.

Atkins became part of the Priority Ambulance family when National EMS was acquired in July 2018. Prior to joining the OnDemand Specialty Vehicles team, Atkins served as the Southeast Regional President for Priority Ambulance, managing operations in Georgia, South Carolina and East Tennessee.
