Edwin Valencia, General Manager
While putting himself through college, Edwin started working as a delivery driver for Universal Courier in 1989. Back then, mopeds were all the rage among college students. He was Universal Courier's “Moped guy”. Edwin was later brought in-house as a customer support representative then proceeded to take the role of Information Technology manager.
In 2006, Edwin was promoted to the role of General Manager. During his time with Universal Courier, Edwin has played a role in every aspect of the company and has gained a great deal of experience in the industry. One of the unique things about Universal Courier is that we have several employees who have been with the company for over 20 years. The accumulated experience of our employees is not measured in decades, but centuries.
